If you don’t want to play football outside in the elements, come along to football training for P1-3 aged pupils in our large sports hall.
We welcome children of all ages to come along and take part in our twice weekly kids club. Your children can make new friends and have fun while leading a fit and active lifestyle. We have a wide range of activities for all ages in a safe and social environment.
Spòrsnis is of obvious value to athletes of all ages and abilities, we run an athletics class that would be of considerable benefit to any individual or club looking to expand their training, whether for sprint training, or general conditioning.
If you can’t decide which is the right exercise for you, or you just like the idea of putting a little variety into your workouts, then Circuit Training classes at Spòrsnis will suit you down to the ground. Car boot sale / Carwash today, thanks to all who came.
Team Carwash made nearly £400 to go towards the costs of local athletes heading for Gotland in June. I have been asked to praise the top 'washer', Ruaridh Mackenzie, well done Ruaridh.

Ness lost 6-1 in Barvas last night. Congratulations to the deserved winners West Side FC and man of the match Luke Mackay ( 4 goals)

Today was probably our busiest bowling day ever with both lanes in continuous use from 10.30 to 8.00pm. Great to see so many visitors here on holiday, many of whom with local connections. On a personal note I shocked a visitor by knowing about the village of Buchlyvie. Good to see visitors from my neighbouring home village. Now I await guests from Gargunnock, Fintry or Thornhill. ... About Spòrsnis

 

Based in Ness, in the Isle of Lewis, Spòrsnis features a large multi-purpose hall, fitness suite and sauna, soft-play area and community learning and resource areas. It also boasts the only 10-pin bowling alley in the Western Isles.

The facility currently operates 6 days a week from 9.00am to 10.00pm.
